New Music from Danny Elfman is now available on the soundtrack to Meet the Robinsons , which opens in theatres on Friday, March 30. CD | Download from iTunes
Amazon calls Danny Elfman's newest musical score a "delightful, pop-driven hybrid. Elfman's orchestral score returns him to the vibrant milieu of his early Tim Burton collaborations, supercharged here by a manic energy that seems equal parts Simpsons, Bernard Herrmann and Carl Stalling." The soundtrack album also features the All-American Rejects' collaboration with Danny Elfman "The Future Has Arrived". Watch the Futurette video featuring Danny Elfman
Other songs on the album are Rob Thomas' hooky single "Little Wonders", Rufus Wainwright's Nillson-like "Another Believer" and the lilting "Motion Waltz". Nouveau UK crooner Jamie Cullum turns in a swinging, piano jazz take on Wainwright's "Where Is Your Heart At?" as well as an inviting cover of "The Simple Life" in the same vein. Bringing the collection full circle is a big-band cover of Disney's vintage "There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" theme performed with loopy big-band charm by They Might Be Giants and the Jonas Brothers more disposable Kim Wilde update, "Kids of the Future".

Movie Reviews
The movie itself is getting very encouraging reviews:
"BEFORE I write anything else about Disney's new animated feature, Meet the Robinsons, I'd just like to offer this advice - see it twice. It's a frenetic, colourful, chaotic whirlwind of characters, ideas and homages..."
Joanne Mace - Basingstoke Gazette
"The characters are beautifully drawn and engaging, and in the madcap world in which Lewis is taken, he feels more at home than he has ever felt."
