2007 Projects
Meet the Robinsons
- Disney film adaptation of popular children's book. Just before Thanksgiving 2006 Danny Elfman recorded the score for Meet the Robinsons.
The Kingdom
- Jamie Foxx stars as an FBI Agent investigating a bombing in the Middle East. Watch the trailer for The Kingdom
2007 Rumors
Spider-Man 3
- In spite of Danny quitting Spider-Man 2 and vowing to never work with Sam Raimi again, Spidey 3 producer Grant Curtis says "Danny and Chris Young are both working on the picture. We have yet to start actively working on the music." Previously, in July, Raimi said "I haven't spoken with Danny but I am hoping that it will be Danny Elfman in conjunction with Chris Young."
The Sixth Element/Brave New Rosenberg
- Directed by brother Richard Elfman, this would be the long-awaited follow-up of sorts to Forbidden Zone.
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
- Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are adapting Steven Sondheim's musical, and maybe Elfman will join them yet again. Stephen Sondheim also wrote the songs for Dick Tracy, which Elfman scored for director/star Warren Beatty. Borat's Sasha Baron Cohen will also star in Sweeney Todd.
2008 Rumor
The Incredible Hulk - The director of The Transporter starts all-over with a film unrelated to Ang Lee's version. Any involvement by Danny Elfman again is pure speculation. He was called-in by Universal to replace the Hulk's original score, but retained certain elements by the original composer.
